During the period of combat actions on the Kalinin and Northwestern Front comrade Sergei Andrianovich Yershov worked as the editor of the corps newspaper Sovetsky patriot. He made the newspaper into a helpful resource that aids the command in mobilizing the men of the corps to carry out their tasks during the fighting with the German invaders. The newspaper commands respect among its readers and genuinely enables them to be taught about prominent experiences of aircrews and technical personnel.
Even when he is allotted limited resources, comrade Yershov makes sure that the newspaper is issued without interruptions.
For organizing the continuous issue of the newspaper Sovetsky patriot, for displaying vigor, for his honorability, and for carrying out his tasks and assignments in an exemplary manner, comrade S.A. Yershov deserves the Order of the Red Star.

I don't know what's the czechoslovakian Order. The medal is not very common.
In Auke´s opinion, every army and corps had a newspaper, and information on them is hard to find. Most likely the newspapers were discontinued after the war when the units were disbanded. Possibly there are archives or libraries in Moscow that have issues of these newspapers.
