Hello guys, here's an honor book, with a few pages untouched: the photos were preservated. A friend told me there always wer only a few persons recorded in these honor books.
Mine show some light water damaged, God knows were it have been stored for those years...

Its greatest quality is it is intact and complete, with the Lenin basrelief on the front cover.

These are truly wonderful!
The first one in particular adopts a style that I adore. I am referring to the bas-relief style (because on the cover it is bas-relief, correct?), whose use on hard-covers makes books appear so, monumental I'd say!
I have access to several 1940s-1950s volumes that adopt this style and I'll try asap to get some good shots for you all.

Guys, coming from Kharkov, this one wasn't cheap, but it is exceptionnal. It is well preserved, and every page is entirely hand-painted over a basic honor book. PLease see below:

Beyond that I didn't know that to date some honor books existed, from the first to the last (specially designed very well) is something monumental.
