Throughout the brigade’s combat actions during the spring and the beginning of the winter, comrade Bachinsky showed himself a courageous and bold officer and an excellent organizer of combat operations.

During critical moments in battle he did not lose composure, but calmly took expedient decisions and thus influenced the successful outcome of the operation.

All of his commander’s decisions he put into practice accurately and he continuously ensured they were executed properly.

He repeatedly visited the front line, where he organized the fighting and refused to tolerate shortcomings and deviant actions, which were committed by several officers and units.

Through proper demandingness and demonstrations he managed to install the staff in its workplace within a short period of time.

As a result of all this, the brigade successfully carried out its combat missions.

For courage and bravery, displayed in combat, and for successfully commanding the units of the brigade, I nominate comrade Bachinsky for the Order of the Red Banner.

I need help.

The 12th Mechanized Brigade, fought in the months of July and August 1943 in the Battle of Kursk. By subpoena or letter of recommendation for Red Flag Order of Merit is the spring and summer, so we could say that their conduct in this battle may be cause for the release of this Order.
For dates and the status of his unit at the time it was delivered to the Order, January 1944, probably was awarded during the Battle of Korsun-Cherkassy.

I'm confused? what other options are there? [1334 [50

This is the opinion of CtahhR
For merits in the Lower Dnieper Strategic Offensive which ran from 26th September 1943 to 20th December 1943 (which coincides with his time "at the front" of 16th October 1943 to 26th December 1943). The 5th Guards Mechanical Corps comprising of the 12th Guards Mechanical Brigade pushed the Germans back over the Dnieper. He was probably in the rear and or studying in the intermission.

The citation seems to cover almost half a year of combat operations (from spring through late December), so you're looking at several campaigns. 12th Guards Mechanized Brigade was part of 5th Guards Mechanized Corps throughout 1943. The corps was refitted until July 1943, after which it first saw action at Prokhorovka (Battle of Kursk). In August 1943 the corps took part in the Belgorod-Kharkov Operation and from October through December it fought on the Dnieper bridgehead southeast of Kremenchug and started advancing in the direction of Kirovograd.
