Only one of the Red Star citation is viewable. Perhaps the other 2 awards are confidential due to his position?

In the offensive battles of the regiment on the outskirts of the city of Moravian-Ostrava that unfolded on April 15th, Guards Captain Shvets showed himself as a brave and courageous officer. Comrade Shvets painstakingly works on the indentification of “unstable elements” and his work assists the Regiment command by strengthening discipline, order and organization. Whilst in combat formation of the companies, he personally continues his work in any combat situations. In difficult moments, comrade Shvets helps to maintain order and organizes the mass of men to great feats.

In the battle to force the river Opava on the night of the 17th - 18th of April, Comrade Shvets was one of the first to cross over to the enemy's shore and the next morning, when the enemy undertook a number of fierce counter-attacks supported by self-propelled guns, comrade Shvets' personal example and ferevent appeals raised the spirits of the fighters and inspired them in their deeds.

In the subsequent battles to force the river Oder and for the city of Moravian-Ostrava, comrade Shvets was with the battalion and assisted the command to carry out the combat tasks that stood before them.

Comrade Shvets is a strong and brave offiver, with Bolshevik principles. Participating in the Patriotic War from the very beginning, he has been wounded three times.
