Badge of honor 23118
Badge of honor 23118

Here is a picture of a piece near by.

Re: Badge of honor 23118
And here is another slightly earlier one.
There is something that bugs me with that 23118, but I can't put my finger on what it is exactly. The surface of the back shows lots of unusual imperfections, the screwpost is not standard, the soldering differs from usual, the rivets have been messed with, and the "teeth" on the right side (looking at the back side) are unusually sharp.

Re: Badge of honor 23118
Thanks to Andreas and Lapa for the near serial specimens. I agree with Marc for the screwback soldering, there is something strange, I think the screw was resoldered (i mean only the screw with the base, not the base with back of the order) , I don't know why. For the rest the order is genuine, in my opinion. I provide other pics.

Re: Badge of honor 23118
Regaleco,
The screw and the base were manufactured in one piece using a lathe, they were not soldered together.
So, if we consider that the rest of the order is genuine, this would indicate that it was converted to suspension at some point, the screw having been cut (which may help explain some of traces on the back), then recently restored to its "original" form by soldering a new screw (usually from an ORS or a 1985 OPW).
