Dear Colleagues,

Kindly forgive me for my long silence. Current personal matters prohibit me from spending significant time with our hobby.

In any case, I did happen to acquire this item in an odd way. It is from an estate of an American woman who traveled to Siberia in the 1960s where she acquired it.

I am unable to identify it, as it not in any reference that I currently have on hand. I am unable locate my copy of AVERS 6 where it may be listed. So, if anyone would possibly reference it in their AVERS, It would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that it is for one of the merchant fleets or other civil maritime organizations - perhaps 1930X - 60X

Gentilmente mi perdoni per il mio lungo silenzio. Attuali questioni personali mi impediscono di passare il tempo significativo con il nostro hobby.

In ogni caso, accaduto ad acquisire questa voce in un modo strano. È da una tenuta di una donna Americana che ha viaggiato in Siberia nel 1960, dove lei ha acquistato.

Non riesco ad identificarlo, come esso non in qualsiasi riferimento che attualmente ho in mano. Non riesco trovare la mia copia di AVERS 6 dove possono essere elencato. Così, se qualcuno farebbe riferimento possibilmente in loro AVERS, esso sarebbe molto apprezzato.

Credo che sia per una delle flotte mercantili o altre organizzazioni della società civile marittimi - forse 1930 X-60 X

Provo a cercare, ma sicuramente è anni 30, lo smalto molto acquoso è lo stesso di questo.

Ps. davvero uno stupendo insieme di fregi marittimi civili, anche se non li colleziono, sono sempre belli da vedere! / really wonderful bunch of civil maritime cockades, always great to look at, even if I actually don't collect them!

Someday I will! I have heard that you can get prepared Tripe in food-carts in the street. Oh, Tripe, in tomato sauce (or fried) with bread and wine. Heaven on earth!

Another recent acquisition. The bullion work is very nicely done and the enamel on the flag is very attractive. Unfortunately, as with the previous example shown, I am unable to find any reference pertaining to it.

I am forcing myself to stay away from Soviet civilian cap badges, but am not sure how long this good intention will last..

As for the wreaths-anchor and star with hammer and sickle cap badge, is that for civilian river/merchant fleet or for VMF?

Per quanto riguarda il fregio fronde-ancora e stella con falce a martello, era per marina fluviale/mercantile o VMF?

Top with hammer and sickle should indicate fiheries (except for lower rank that has a badge with a triangular red flag) while star on top is for morflot of riverine.
Morflot and riverine of course differentiates by other details like presence of rudder or wreaths around globe.
All of this do not take into account dates, i'm not aware if at some point different branches of the civil fleets wear the same badges.
