Taken in Germany, I could not resist being able to examine it personally.
Although it seems to me to be very copper, its characteristic signs seem to me to be regular, unfortunately there is also a strange corrosion on Stalin's head, and at 5 o'clock, difficult to see with the naked eye, but that I could only find it now, magnifying it, perhaps An acid or oxidation?
Adesso tocca a voi a decretarne l'affondamento o no

I am very agree with you, and this medal also gives me bad feelings, but it does not look like the insidious kapral viewtopic.php?p=620395#p620395, but maybe it might be a step forward..?Lapa ha scritto:From what can be seen , I don't.rocketscientist ha scritto:A me piace molto

I decided to clean it, the copper patina is gone, at least the medal looks brass...

The darken zone looks like porous, a casting problem?

Seb, I don't know, but if it didn't have this flaw, I, I've never seen a (copy?) so well made.
I think we have to worry about...

Filo, controlla l'anello.

Ci sentiamo Domenica sera.

Filo,
Well, with these new pictures, there is a possibility that it might be OK.
Can you, please, do additional scans of the ribbon area under different lighting angles.

Re: Partisan 2nd class

Guys,
Does anyone care to explain me how bronze can get corroded to that point in a matter of 60 years? Have a look a Roman coins that have spend a good 2000 years in the ground for comparison purposes.

Re: Medaglia "Partigiano della GGP", II.a classe
A good old acide bath to make the new look like the old?
Re: Medaglia "Partigiano della GGP", II.a classe
No bronze, but brass: , this League is definitely easier to corrode.
