I believe that these are M58 field shoulder boards for an infantry Lieutenant.

IMHO, this is an unissued pair of M58 shoulder boards of a junior officer of medical brand.

I found an ebay auction, with nearly the same shoulder boards. They were reffered as 1957 (Modell) shoulder boards.

Seems to be infantry:

From December 1955 to 1970 the colors were changed to:
   Crimson: infantry, mechanized and motorized infantry, airborne troops
   Black: artillery, armored troops, technical corps
   Light blue: Air Force
   Dark green: medical and veterinary services
   Red: high officers (all branches)
