Wartime caps: identification

Gents, I propose this game. A french collector, non specialized in our area, tries to convince me that those 3 caps are wartime.

I 'm convinced they are all M55 caps doctored to look like wartime and being more valuable.

His explanations:
-the first one is a M55 with a square visor added for cinema, with internal stamp as a proof.

-the second one is a M35 with a square M48 visor and a M36 star, and a "red fighter factory stamp" for 51-54 (sic).

-the third one is conceived to look like a field M41: it would be a M59 basis with a new visor and a M39 star.

The poor guy believes he has genuine caps, and you see how smoky is his reasoning.

What are your opnions?

Seb,

I am somewhat lost with your explanations: Are the descriptions HIS or YOURS?
I agree that all 3 caps are "improved" post-war specimens, along the lines of the explanations you wrote above.
And the last one has a splendid fake stamp [110.gif

In that case, I agree with his explanations.

So 3 genuine caps?

The 1st one could be a movie prop.

But the 2nd one? Not a M35 with a 50ies stamp, not possible?

The 3rd is also crap, with its visor added...

No, 3 fake caps, as he indicated, made from later material to look like older models.
True, the wording of the second one is off. It should be "1950's cap with changed visor to make it look like an M35".

Well, it's because he's convinced to have 3 genuine caps...

This is the point! His reasoning is twisted: the 1st is for him genuine, even if modificated; the 2 and 3rd are 100% genuine. I said the visor were brand new but for him they are ok.

Seb,

The way you wrote it, it sounds rather differently:
-"the first one is a M55 with a square visor added for cinema, with internal stamp as a proof.": Yes, M55 no argument
-"the third one is conceived to look like a field M41: it would be a M59 basis with a new visor and a M39 star.": so, here also, it pretends to be an M41 although it is a modification of an M59, as mentioned.
