Re: Afghan grouping
Indeed this article is of the utmost interest, describing afghan orders and their relative documents.
The farsi langage is a daring barier. Western articles about this country are more than scarce!
I only noticed an inversion betwwen two photos comments in pages 12-13, about the star and bravery orders (my clue: the order names were translated in russian langage at the top of the order booklets right pages)

Re: Afghan grouping
Thanks for your comments and observation, appreciated. It took me about five months to complete the article. I have completed another follow up article to the 2014 "KGB in Afghanistan". This article is going to be around five pages and will be published in 2019.

Interesting! Please do not think I criticize your article. We say in France "criticism is easy job, art is hard job".
Such presentation mistakes are often due to the journal redaction crew. Big big job to edit a publication...

No worries at all. All is good.

Re: Afghan grouping
Wow amazing group Ralph,
would have been nice to see a complete presentation with a close up of all the orders, medals and documents, one by one
some of these pieces are very rare..

Re: Afghan grouping
Sergio - thank you for your comments and appreciated. I have sent you a PM.
I also want to add that I just completed another article related to a Afghan grouping and it should be published later this year. Once it is published I will create a thread on my other Afghan grouping in my collection. Stay tuned.

Thank you Ralph.
Is it possible to ask you if you have had an access, even uncomplete, to archives about Vartanian?

Re: Afghan grouping
Komsomol - Over the years there have been checks related to the archives, however it is still a gap at this time.
