45th Sentral Marine polygon (Nenoksa, Severodvinsk) was established in 1954.
Purpose: testing of sea-based ballistic intercontinental missiles, testing of sea-based cruise and anti-aircraft missile systems.

The badge is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the polygon.
Badge made of tombac, hot enamel coating.
