I did not know that the Americans would provide also belts.
I knew of tanks, trucks, and airplanes but I never imagined this kind of material.

The lend lease provided much material, fabric, shoes, food, etc. ..
The belt on the bust is made by Boyt .

14.500.000 paia di scarpe e stivali
2.500.000 coperte
136.000.000 yard di tela di cotone
53.000.000 yard di panno
53.000 Short Tons di cuoio

Questo solo per quanto riguarda il "Quartermaster Corps", tralasciando aerei, carri, armi (qualche migliaio di pistole 1911 e ben 7 Carabine m1), materiale radio, chimico e del Genio!

This is one of the first Gymnasterki I had bought when I began collecting. I also have the matching breeches. Someday, I'll create a display also...

Well, once I found an Artillery Major parade coat in Tirol..so why shouldn't there be wartime Gymnasterkas in Normandy?

Always difficult to talk about prices, keep in mind that these effects are hard to find .

I thought otherwise. I thought it was very easy to find, as millions were manufactured. I look at Ebay to see prices.

Find a M35 or M43 Gymnastiorka produced during the war is really difficult. You must be patient

I agree with Dom. You can easily find a postwar (read: 1960's) gymnasterka, they are always available. If you want a period one, be ready to wait and pay a (very) serious price.
