Non saprei tradurre shock-worker dall'inglese all'italiano... credo che il termine sia un chiaro esempio di neolingua di Orwelliana memoria, e credo non lo capiscano neppure loro.

Come si vede, è stato coniato apposta per tradurre "Udarnik". Possiamo fare lo stesso in Italiano, as esempio "Stralavoratore", "Laborinox", "Ultrarisorsa", "Maestranzalampo"

Visto che gli italiani sono tanto bravi a usare le parole estere anche quando esistono i corrispettivi italiani (a cominiciare dall'informatica!!!) visto che non esiste il termine italiano usiamolo in inglese o meglio ancora in russo. Non vedo il problema. Udarnik o Shock-Worker... se l'italiano in questo caso non è all'altezza si usa un'altra lingua. Problema risolto.

I don't think there is a simple, English term for it. Maybe 'super-productive' in addition to 'politically-active'.

Both are common variations.
Note the badge on the left and its screw-plate; they seem to be often seen with silver wash on the reverse except for the area where the screw-plate was. That postion is often plain brass.
Both screw-plates are, I think, original.

"Screw-plate" is "vite di fissaggio", but you can use "nut" ("noce") as well.

Ho trovato una offerta speciale, diciamo un 2x1 o qualcosa del genere, ed ecco altri due distintivi da Shockworker della Campagna di Stalin, forse un po' raffazzonati per renderli presentabile. Entrambi sono di tipo 5, ovvero senza numero e con mirror reverse. La cosa che mi ha lasciato meravigliato appena li ho ricevuti, è che non hanno le stesse dimensioni. Il primo da sinistra (un T5.16-D) è leggermente più' grande del secondo (un T5.13-B).
Infatti, anche secondo una tabella riportata QUI, la versione 16-D è due millimetri più' grande dell'altra, sia in altezza che in larghezza.

Detto questo, entrambi i distintivi hanno la vite rovinata, se non sostituita recentemente, e le screwplate sembrano di recupero (una certezza, almeno in un caso)
