Quello che posso solo dire, è che il suo tragitto; Siberia, Mosca, Italia , è stato assai tortuoso e molto "Manu Chao", il che lo rende ancora più speciale.

Grazie Ruiz, si sono molto felice, ma è stata veramente un impresa temeraria riunire l'PW2, alla ORB.

Lobanov was awarded ORB at the end of March 1942. But the soviets stopped bombing Berlin on 5 September 1941.
So I think, it is a little too long of a gap. My point is being, the citation is not for Berlin bombardment...

Yes, but Berlin was just my assumption striking in fact, as rightly you say, may have been other missions.

Hey, Filo. You are right. I was being stupid... LOBANOV's participation in Berlin raids is mentioned in the existing citations... My mistake.
But here is maybe an interesting detail. LOBANOV was in the crew of SHAPOSHNIKOV (an HSU).
So SHAPOSHNIKOV was awarded HSU by a decree on 29/March/1942, i.e. on the same day LOBANOV was awarded ORB 26258. They must had been awarded b the same decree then.

Giusta deduzione - right deduction http://www.warheroes.ru/hero/hero.asp?Hero_id=5986

Lobanov got medal "For Bravery" in Feb 1945. In the citation also 2 raids to Berlin are mentioned.
But their dates are 09.08.42 and 03.0942. I.e. after the decree for ORB.
None of his mentioned long range strikes were in 1941...
Well the paperwork is not perfect... See my other topic.

Potresti procurarti una stampa dell'epoca del bombardiere e fare un quadro di presentazione con scan dei documenti e decorazioni..

Belle foto, grazie Sergio, la seconda mi piace molto, e mi è inedita.
Bisogna fare attenzione però, esistevano due tipi di aereomobili Il-4, https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilyushin_Il-4
uno come quello di Lobanov, che era un classico bombardiere da sganciamento in altitudine denominata TK, e quello aereosilurante dettaT, infatti in alcune tue foto sono presenti alcuni di essi, che presentano sottopancia un grosso siluro.

Si filo avevo intuito la cosa guardando le foto, sono comunque interessanti e molto belle e ho deciso di inserirle.
