Hello Alexei, indeed many sources state this screwplate is the right one. Where do this error can originate?

I have a second Chasan badge with a totally different screwplate. I will post the screwplate in the next days.

OK, good question. Years ago I have researched this badge a little and found several variations of the screwplate, but not this one. Let me see if I can find some of my old notes or scans. Maybe I spoke too soon.

No, this one is not correct, the badge was made by the Leningrad Mint.

Filo, hai indicato proprio la discussione giusta, difatti la sensazione che ho avuto vedendo questo distintivo Xacan è esattamente quella che provo quando ritrovo uno di quei "Eccellente Taroccatore" nel cassetto dove li nascondo. Questa strana lega di ottone brunito è una tecnica moderna di dare un'idea di antico in oggetti di metallo. Non c'è traccia della doratura che credo fosse nominale in questo distintivo e non ci sono segni di usura che possano giustificare la cosa. Ho già contattato il veditore e rispedendo il tutto senza rimpianti.
