The cloth is different, diverse manufacturing details (sewn sleeve, small reinforcement for the button on the shoulder for the first gymnasterka)

Very impressive indeed! What rank was comrade Filovitch? (btw, FILO-vitch .. Ok, sorry, this was a bad joke ).

And..sorry for being pedantic but, if you get the chance, I'd highly appreciate a close-up photo of the cap star. From the distance it appears to be a painted star, possibly German production.

I could however very well be wrong as I cannot see it in details at all. Naturally, if it is a standard Soviet edition, there's no need for you to go back and take a picture of it.
