Udarnik (Russo: Ударник)è un russo, bosniaco, croato e serbo termine per un operaio super-produttivo nella ex-Jugoslavia e Unione Sovietica. Il termine deriva dall'espressione "udarny trud" per il "Super-produttivo, entusiastico lavoro", che è spesso tradotto come sciopero del lavoro (udar "shock, colpire, saltare") e udarnik come sciopero operaio, rispettivamente.

Udarnik (Russian: Ударник) is a Russian, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian term for a super-productive worker in the Soviet Union and ex-Yugoslavia. The term is derived from the expression "udarny trud" for "super-productive, enthusiastic labour", which is often translated as strike labour (udar "shock, strike, blow"), and udarnik as strike worker, respectively.

Ho visto questi con varie date. Non li ho visti descritti come essendo in argento, ma questo esempio sembra essere placcato, almeno.

I've seen these with various dates. I have not seen them described as being made of silver, but this example appears to be plated, at least.

I doubt it. The '47 badge is the only one I've seen in Cyrillic. Mu guess is that after the big split between the USSR and Tito the Yugos went with their own alphabet.

In fact I found this 1962 badge that bears the word UDARNIK in cyrillic alphabet.

Given the particular care with which the Yugoslavian leadership treated the national and linguistic issues, I would not be surprised if latin alphabet badges were used in Slovenia, Croatia and parts of BiH, while cyrillic ones again in parts of BiH, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia.

This however does not mean that for every single latin or cyrillic badge there existed its counterpart in the other alphabet.

That could very well be. Good thought! Lemme go see what I can find.
edit: From ebay only I found only 1947 Cyrillic version. I found Latin images of 1959, '60 & '61, '63 (with a notation of 'second variation'), '64, '66, '68, '69, '72-'78, '80-'83, '85, '86 and '89.

Wow! That is a lot of different badges!

Would be so cool to have a (somehow near) complete collection of these!

The design is very stimulating and the materials of the early-mid period ones seem to be just excellent. Nice addition to any badges collection indeed! Thanks for sharing!

Le spille da "lavoratore d'urto" (udarnik) sono molto belle, in particolare quelle degli anni '40, '50, '60, all'epoca delle grandi campagne per la ricostruzione del paese. Mia nonna prese parte, nel '46, all'azione per la "ferrovia della gioventù" (Omladinska pruga) di Brčko-Banovići. Era un passo quasi obbligato se si voleva guadagnare l'accesso all'università. Tanta fatica, lavoro nel fango e pianti notturni.

Questo tema mi ricorda sempre una canzone degli Zabranjeno Pušenje (letteralmente "Vietato fumare"), uno dei più famosi gruppi rock jugoslavi degli anni '80, che cantava del disagio giovanile e del tramonto di un sistema comunista che stava ormai soccombendo al manicheismo di celebrazioni, linguaggi e tributi che si erano da tempo svuotati di un significato concreto, soprattutto per giovani nati e cresciuti in tempi nuovi.
