A Sukhbaatar type 1... thanks for sharing Alexei!

Absolutely fabulous Orders! Their state of preservation is stunning - and here I especially refer to the Type 1.

Allow me to integrate these great Orders with a few photos.

First of all, our Damdinii Sükhbaatar, here portrayed during a seemingly very friendly talk with Ilich, under the watchful eye of Marx.
Here we have Герой МНР генерал-полковник Буточийн Цог (1912-1989), Hero of the Mongolian People's Republic, Colonel-General Butochiin Zog, who was awarded the Order of Sukhbaatar five times (together with just a few other Orders, Medals and badges..).
And finally we have quite a character: livestock Labour Hero Зундуйн Очир, Zunduin Ochir, who was awarded the Order of Sukhbaatar three times.

Thanks for posting the scans! It's always nice to see those awards being worn.

Of course we should not forget another important recipient of three orders of Sukhbaatar.

Very true Alexei! And nice documents indeed - I know some fellow collectors here on the forum will love to see them!

And it is always a pleasure to look at Marshal Khukov's set of orders and medals. One finds it difficult to realise that they all fit on a single uniform!

Actually looking closer at the number and size of the orders, one can realise that unless Zhukov hanged some of those on the rear of his jacket, there was no way he could wear them all (just it's getting late here in the UK and after evening work my perception of space and measures seems to dilatate).

You completely forgot about 3rd variation!!!
