Bulgarian Order of People's Liberty . 1941-1944

It was established on September 9, 1945 . In accordance with its Statute , entered into two classes.
It was awarded to Bulgarian and foreign citizens for the "participation in the revolutionary struggles of the people of Bulgaria " , also being awarded posthumously.
The Order has the shape of a pentagram . The first class has a star with a white enameled gold , 52 mm in diameter. Mounts turn in another golden radiant pentagram , and a green - gold center circumference of enamelled mount the phrase : " Za Narodna Svoboda 1941-1944 " ( People's Liberty from 1941 to 1944 ) and the effigy of Hristo Botev , Bulgarian poet and national hero journalist ( 1848-1876 ) .
The Order of II class has a star with a silver - rimmed red enameled mounted in turn on a radiant silver five-pointed star .
Initially the Order in both classes are in the right , but later take on the left chest .
The award was designed by Boris Angelushev and initially manufactured in the workshops of Onik Chakarov , Onik Simonyan and Miloshev Strahil in Sofia, and after 1952 , in the newly created Mint State .
The first to be honored was Georgi Dimitrov . Many partisans were deserving of this Order. In 1991 , when the order was reversed , the total number of decorated on both classes was 68,265 people.

Nice order...
The first variation confuses me... why have they used two stars pieces?

I don't know Airon but were used in short time. A curious and complicated assembly at once.
