Title Hero of Socialist Labor. 1st Variantion.

Established on June 15, 1948, with a decree of the Presidium of the National Assembly. At first, the title was named "Hero of Labour". Later, in December 1950, it was renamed as "Hero of Socialist Labor."
It is awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of agriculture, science, education, culture, the arts, and to contribute to technical progress. The person, was also awarded with the Order of Georgi Dimitrov.
The star has a diameter of 32 mm and is made of 14 carat gold and decorated with crossed hammer and sickle. On the back it reads: "Hero of Socialist Labor."
The Title was given to 1.718 people. In November 1990, was withdrawn.

I'm quite interested in soviet boxes for orders and medals and some knowledge on bulganians doesn't hurt at all for me as i am a totally newbie about the militaria of this country.

Peculiar the Hero Star of Socialist Labor of Bulgaria does not have a serial number engraved ..
Considering that they have given only 1718 stars should also be pretty expensive, surely as the Order of Georgi Dimitrov ..
