Dal momento che il documento viene stampato, ogni soldato della sua unità (solo identificato come "unità militare n. 48896") deve aver ricevuto questi elogi. Per me è la prima volta che ho visto uno di questi.

It's a document for a veteran who fought in combat during the GPW, listing all battles and river crossings for which he was given offical commendations (blagodarnost certificates). Since the document is printed, every soldier in his unit (only identified as "military unit nr. 48896") must have received these commendations. For me too it's the first time I have seen one of these.

a) you don`t need to feel the blanks (Nickolayev, Odessa, Budapesht, Vien, etc)

looks cool yes but the names of the cities with pen are more attractive for eyes
