Bought yesterday on a military show this Latvian Sport medal.

Does anybody have more information about this medal. When and to whom was it awarded?

This is a medal for Champions of Latvia.
Issued by Latvian SSR Ministry of sport and physical culture.

I'd say this one came from 70s/80s
