Here's the romb for the UML, stamped by the MGK of the PCUS, or Moscovskii Gorodskoi Komitet.

This a red enameled badge, but there do exist a lot of variations (with blue enamels). I don't know what are their differences...

Simple cardboard diploma, I don't know what is the makers mark (crossed hatchets) on the screwnut...

The badge is a 3-pieces construction, it seems that the coat of arms is glued.

Nice badge, fortunately with its document.

Interesting classes!

I have always been very fascinated by these diamonds. The design is very inspiring and the institution they referred too was a very interesting one indeed!

I have seen very few on the market (maybe because I usually hunt for cap badges actually.. ), are they more scarce or difficult to obtain than standard Military Academy or technical Universities diamonds?

I don't believe the UML rombs are more expensive. They're less asked and wanted because they're civilian. Genuine military rombs are not so evdient to find...

Mi ritrovo un distintivo della UML che dovrebbe essere stato coniato nei paesi baltici (deduco ciò dalla scritta sulla vite, in caratteri latini e in una lingua dal suono finnico). Salvo ciò, sembra a posto... E' possibile una circostanza simile o è un falso?

La "TK ÜHENDUS" credo sia Estone (di Tallinn, specificatamente).

Sono daccordo la fattura sembra Estone, anche se in tutti gli screwplates che ho visto, e in uno che ho anche io, dove c'e scritto "Juveelitehas Tallinn" dove la dicitura Tallinn risulta sempre presente http://www.rkka.it/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=28853
