An inventory number erased, the other preservated... But which museum? There have been a lot of museums closed and emptied of all their colections in Ukraine.

Sadly, knowing the fate of many museums around the former USSR, I'd say that this might have been stolen not FROM the museum, but rather WITH the (whole) museum..

I don't know. The museum could have been closed and the whole stuf sold in an auction, or given to the first merchant coming in the street...

Actually, especially in Ukraine and the Baltic states, many museums were officially liquidated during the 1990's and their holdings were sold.

Coming from Czesch republik. Curiously, there's an inventory number, at the same location and erased as same than on my previous diplomas. Could they be all coming from the same museum? This is still a mystery, as I also don't know how they were granted.
