Scarce, for those impressed by the big mass in the Palast der Republik...

Very interesting! Saw badges of this sort somewhere around in Berlin, but never the card. It nicely completes the set indeed!
ps. I allowed myself to integrate in your original message the photo of the PdRpublik, which wasn't being properly displayed in the thread (perhaps because of the intromission of an external hosting site or upload mechanism that is not recognised by the forum platform) .

Molto interessante! Ho visto distintivi simili in giro a Berlino, ma mai la tessera. Completa in grande stile il set!
ps. Mi sono permesso di integrare nel tuo messaggio la foto del PdRepublik, che sembrava essere stata caricata attraverso un sito esterno di hosting e che quindi non compariva propriamente nel thread!

Grazzie mille!
This card exists in two forms: consultative voice (berantender stimme) and effective voice (beschliessender stimme).

In fact, Mr Schabe sold me his political archives. I had to do very numerous shots on ebay, and he gave me additionnal papers. I've got to show some papers, I had a lot of luck with this man. He sold too some papers of his father-in-law...

Really fantastic. You've built up a small archive there!
The box is absolutely fantastic. And all the material seems to be simply in mint condition. Really great stuff!

Another small group, to a woman of Suhl:
The entrance ticket for the grand hall of the Palast for Republic is terrible!

Stunning group and a very interesting collection! Thanks Komsomol!
While some of the badges are "common", I've never seen the booklets. Very fascinating with the number of seat, row, also the hotel...!

Palast of republik was a formidable building, huge but stylish. A Frenchman like me who loves Renzo Piano's Centre Pompidou in Paris can state about that. The Congress palast of Sofia is also a huge monster, but it hasn't been demolished. Asbestos was a pretext: the Palast was a political symbol before the wall fall, and after it remained a political symbol in inverse way.
It could have been a cool cultural center. Now the Hohenzollern plast is coming back directly next to the modernist buildings and TV towers of the sixties... No comment.
The old palast could have been restored by the Communists, and Berlin would have been restored like Praga... A first huge mistake to torn the old prussian symbol. But Ulbricht's modernist center was not a marvel, but was coherent. Others countries, and many democracies shared this faith in modernist architecture utopia.

Clap of hands from somebody who lives in Berlin.
