Hello, I'm looking for a medal of the liquidators of chernobyl with original document. If anyone knows a store or some link, I would be very grateful.

You should start to run now, because you'll run for a long time: the document is really scarce.

I saw one on the web one time, proposed by Alexei Merezhko.

I search for a set from time to time but i was never able to find a legit one.

It took me a veeeery long time to find the document... and I got a blank, unissued one.

Found accidentely on "E"... There're so much fantasy commemos medals about Tchernobyl that the seller didn't notice he had a different doc from the others...

Seems legit... in the worst case, if it is a fake, I would have paid a bit steep price for the common medal (20 euros). But the paper is identical to the few photos I have of legit documents...

Sperando di essere nella sezione giusta, posto le foto di un mio recente acquisto:

Medaglia dei Liquidatori, ( anche se tecnicamente ho letto che dovrebbe essere un distintivo) la quale veniva assegnata al personale che ha contribuito alle operazioni di "pulizia" dell'area colpita dal disastro della centrale nucleare di Chernobyl.

Non ho esperienza per valutare se sia genuina o meno, ma l'elevato numero di medaglie assegnate, la buona fattura e il basso costo non mi fanno dubitare della sua originalità, ma mi rimetto al giudizio di voi esperti

Ad ogni modo il mio pensiero va ai caduti, inconsapevoli o meno, di quella tragedia.

Le foto del "Liquidatore" le ho scattate il 9 maggio (70 anni della vittoria) in quel di Stakhanov, Donbass.

Yes, the box is the original one for this badge. As to the document, it is extremely scarce; it is usually easier to find it unissued than actually awarded.

I paid mine 10usd, but only because I was lucky and the seller was unaware of what it really was, it believed it was a doc for one of those recent fantasy ukrainian badges... and it is a blank doc! Ten years ago Alexei Merezhko proposed one genuine and filled, around 30-40 usd.

Well, you are far from being the only one looking for Chernobyl related stuff, and this is one of the few original pieces, so interest is high!
An unissued booklet should probably be more available and affordable, but I'd still expect to pay $50 or more for it.

Hi guys. They offer me this document, from a policeman. It seem original? I am afraid that with a simple stamp and pasting a photo they can be done easily. What do you think?

I'd say that it looks pretty good: the document itself, the wear, the handwriting, etc.
Can you make a large scan of the stamp for confirmation.
