Comrade Mishenkov has participated in combat with the German invaders on the front lines of the Patriotic War. During combat reconnaissance on 21.5.44 as part of a prisoner snatch group, he was one of the first to burst into the enemy trenches, leading them in trench combat and ensuring the completion of the combat mission with the capture of a German soldier.
