Questo ordine veniva conferito a militari e cittadini per coraggio ed eroismo in tempo di guerra e per meriti nella difesa della repubblica in tempo di pace. La medaglia è di forma ovale (43X34 mm), in basso un nastro bianco reca la scritta "HPБ" (Народна република България, Repubblica Popolare di Bulgaria) ai lati si trovano due rami di alloro dorati come il militare al centro. Lo sfondo è azzurro e dietro il soldato c'è la bandiera smaltata di rosso con la scritta "per la Madrepatria socialista";in alto sotto l'anello per la sospensione una stella a 5 punte. Il retro e piatto e liscio e in basso il numero seriale (la seconda versione è senza numero). La sospensione è pentagonale e il nastrino è rosso scuro con due fasce (bianca e verde) e una più piccola bianca a comporre il tricolore bulgaro.

La spilla differisce da quelle sovietiche è molto più bassa e l'appiccicagnolo è fatto in altra maniera.

Here's a common unumbered order, late type. I treied a set with adocument. Indeed, late documents didn't show any order number. What was my clue to guess if the set had a chance to be genuine? The booklet serial number. The number is correct for the early 1980ies, because it seems they changed the numbers in 1981/1982. They put the counters to zero towards 1982 after being arrived to 100 000 approximately. In 1984 they adopted another way of numbering the booklets. So there's only a probabilty - but a correct one - that this late order fits with this late booklet. Fakers and sellers don't really bother to check statistical tables like the one I created.

ONe more. I bet this group was a whole, but I haven't any prrof of this, only probabilities.

The doc dosen't bear number indications, my only clue is that 8038 was correct for this periode (end of the 50ies).
