Wow! This order/medal is really supremely interesting! What a fascinating design and superb quality!
The two-pieces construction reminds the Soviet Order of Kutuzov. I see a pretty low serial number on the reverse, any idea about how many of these were issued?

Hello Claretbaron, each region issued its own medals?
It is an expensive piece? We don't see much chinese medals here in the West.

at that time i think each region all have medals. chinese medals now are expensive , now for me , buy a medal is a Luxury hobby .
1949---1976i think this time, chinese medal are nice, after 1976 , not good. by chinese medal picture, all lover will agree my point.
