A really worth buying book. Really comprehensive, a summ. Only a fews criticisms: the pictures are not explained about variations, and critical details are not explained. Because collecting polish orders is a dangerous sport: with many producers, official and private, polish medals is a JUNGLE!!!

So real!!! I think that a comprehensive list of variations is impossible. Too much private artists and producers.

I believe W. Stella ( a gentleman who offered me free shipping because when I saw him in Runigs military fait, near Paris, he had sold all his copies of the 2nd volume ) listed all official variations. But photos aren't big enough, and the explanations doesn't detail every specific point of engraving like does a classic reference such as Mondvor. But I personnaly believe all other non-explained variations, called "private" by courtesy or ignorance, are really close of fake fabrics.

We are agree about this.
"Private productions" are unofficial productions, and unofficial for me means copy.
Poland and Russia are full of this "private productions", and it's really hard to understand the right way to buy somethin.
Russians market it's more simple, for example, if you see a brighter Suvorov order of 1st class at 50€ you know that you're going to buy a copy....it's a little harder with polish orders where the price are too much different.
