A bit uncommon: this set is made of state and mass organisations medals.

This guy worked in the huge construction programs set out by Honcker in the late 1980ies, especially for the 1987Berlin festivities. The FDJ gave a lot of young workers for assistance, or labeled skilled professional workers still present in its ranks.

Those medals are common as they were mass-produced, and lately instituted. Diplomas are , as usual, scarcer.

First picture: this is an honor diploma from the FDJ for participating in the Berlin works.

Second: a good performance medal, state award for socialist competitions. Gave in the origin city of this man.

Third and fourth: the special FDJ medals created for the Berlin programs, known as "FDJ-initiative".

Fifth: the labor union medal created for the Berlin programms, bronze class.
