Hello,

Order of red star serial number 671.927. Awarded to political commissar Petr Semenovich Korolev in Caucasus area on 27/02/1943.

Description of the personal feats or merits:

"Deputy company commander Lt. KOROLEV exhibited gallantry, courage and heroism in the fight against Germano-Fascist invaders. 10.1.1943 deputy company commander LT. KOROLEV, while sitting on top of the turret, personally directed his unit fire during the battle for town Mineralnye Vody. He personally eliminated 25 hitlerites, 3 vehicles. In this engagement his unit destroyed: 5 tanks, 12 vehicles, up to 150 hitlerites, and smashed railway train."

Actually I could not believe that a city called Минеральные Воды "Mineralnye Vody - Mineral Water" would actually exist. But it does: I found it on a map.

Yes, it is not a lie! I have been there. [146
If you had to translate the town name, it would be better to say something like "Mineral Springs". The name of the town refers to a number of mineral water springs located in the area.
