50th Anniversary of the USSR, Commemorative Medal, 1972.
Silver gilt, enamels. Exquisite quality. Medallion is 27.2 mm wide. Reverse of the suspension device shows "MMD" mark of the Moscow Mint. The medallion is two-piece construction, with superimposed Lenin's bust in silver. The reverse is inscribed "60th Anniversary of the Creation of the Union of SSR. Moscow, Kremlin. December 1972".
This medal was issued exclusively to the attendees of the anniversary ceremony in Kremlin. Among them were members of the Supreme Soviet, top echelon of the Party leadership and prominent Communist leaders from around the world.

Incredibile. Questa vale una Centenario di Lenin per leader esteri. Sarebbe bello trovare foto della cerimonia e vederlo indossato!
