A superb group Ralph, as usual. The soviet red star given to a foreign officer in the name of the brotherhood in arms is of the utmost interest.
It seems that the bulgarian red flag order bears no number order in its relevant doc; could you confirm please that the medal bears no number on its reverse?

I believe past the early 1960ies the Bulgarians had ceased to stamp serials numbers on thiers orders.

Gorgeous set ! Bulgarian awards are a new frontier for me. This group is amazing, but I can only recognise two orders. It would be good to have a small presentation of each piece, for non-expert amateurs, with bigger scans.

Hello rocketscientist - thanks for your comments. I wish you the best collecting Bulgarian awards. I got lucky with my only Bulgarian awards grouping which helped fill out my Warsaw Pact intelligence and security collection.
