That look more like a badge than an actual OMD.

Very likely, it is the Infantry Leader's Officer's Badge that comes in 3 classes.

It was created in 1941 to reward those Bulgarian and German Generals, Officers, Sub-officers and troops (Front of the Balkans) who excelled in acts of valor during the conflict. The measurements are 40 mm x 55 mm. The plaque represents the figure of a soldier looking to the side. Just above it, a shield with the colors of the Bulgarian flag and in the center the emblem of King Boris III. Below the soldier appears in miniature, the Order of Valor. They were granted in 4 versions. The plate for Generals is gilded, for Silver officers and NCOs in bronze with enamel and bronze troop without enamels.

I have these three plaques in my collection. I'm missing the golden version for generals.

Da niente amico . The plaques of Bulgaria, manufactured during the Second World War are precious. I collect some of them. They are really beautiful.

Many decorations of the Bulgarian Army were delivered to their German allies and also German decorations were handed over to Bulgarian soldiers. This happened during the WWI and WWII
In both wars they were allies.
For example, they were delivered:
-Commemorative medal of the WWI
-Plaques : Pilot, Observer, Wounded, Parachutist, Infantry.
-Bravery Medals and Orders
- Orders : Order of St. Alexander, Order of Merit, Civil Merit, Military Merit,
-Red cross medals
-Merit medal
-Diferent badges…..

Some of these decorations were made in Germany, mainly by the Zimmermann company ( and some other company) , these decorations are much sought after by collectors.
I have some WWII decorations, and some pictures of German soldiers with Bulgarian decorations, searched on internet.
