I. Brief description of personal feat or merits
For the period of the battles he demonstrated himself as a strong-willed commander devoted to the Lenin-Stalin Party and the Socialist Motherland. On 3.9.42 in an exceptionally difficult moment for the command post of the division headquarters, Lieutenant Mogilev, risking his life, fired at the advancing enemy’s infantry from an antiaircraft gun and slowed down its further advance towards the command post.
When on 7.9.42 the enemy’s infantry broke through towards the command post of the division headquarters and was at a distance of 200 meters from it, Lieutenant Mogilev using an antiaircraft gun on land targets, fired against German machine gunners and infantry and did not let anyone pass through the command post despite the enemy’s strong artillery and mortar fire on the antiaircraft guns and the men of Lieutenant Mogilev.
For the bravery and mastery in combat, Lieutenant Mogilev deserves governmental awards, order of the “ Red Star ”.

The story is indeed cool. I remember reading somewhere that Nazi Panzers moving towards Stalingrad were met with decisive fire coming from anti-aircraft guns firing at point blank, operated by female personnel.. Their heroism did naturally not prevent the Wehrmacht onslaught from spreaing to the towns, but as I recall, Nazi panzer crews were very impressed.
