In fact I want to expose to you some hints and difficulties I encountered last month when trying to find some decrees about my orders.
Near Paris we have the chance to posses the biggest soviet fund of books and periodical of all the country, in Nanterre (Bibliothèque de Documentation Internationale Contemporaine - Library of International Contemporary Documentation).
I found the complete collections of Supreme Soviet official decrees, for the Soviet Union and for the RSFSR. I found some infos: the ukaz about my HSL. The official journal of decrees is the" Vedomosti Verkhovnii Soviet SSSR". I found awards for top bosses, HSL, academicians, to moral persons such as factories, periodicals... lists of military awards in some cases. In the RSFSR I saw decrees for some medals of republican field such as Protection of public order.
But I found nothing about my orders. I had dates (e.g. april 26, 1971) and the dates didn't match with the day of edition of the journal.
Hence two possible ways: my order decrees resort of another republic, and I strongly bend towards the Vedomosti of SS of Ukraine. Or I didn't understand at all the system. There's the possible way of all others autonomous republics of the RSFSR, and ministerial decrees!
