Short concrete description of his combat feat or accomplishment:
In the battles of 14.01.1945 during the breakthrough of the heavily fortified enemy defenses in the area of Folvark, as well in the area of the city of Radom, Comrade Malenky showed courage and bravery. Whilst in the crew of the company commander Lieutenant Popov, he maintained constant radio communications with all of the combat machines thus enabling the company commander to complete his task. Comrade Malenky also provided target designation and adjusted the fire from the main cannon whilst simultaneously firing from his own machine gun.
This made it possible for the company commander to destroy: 1 tank, 3 self-propelled guns, 8 guns of varying caliber, two armored personnel carriers, a mortar battery, 7 wagons loaded with military cargo and up to 80 soldiers and officers.
He deserves the government award, the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class.
