Re: Ehrengschenk für Kampfgruppe
Very nice Komsomol. It's signed?
Re: Ehrengschenk für Kampfgruppe
This is really quite impressive! It could have found a place in the "Berlin and its monuments" exhibition which I saw yesterday in the Spandauer Zitadelle..
Re: Ehrengschenk für Kampfgruppe
Grazzie for your comments. No I didn't see any signature. And of course a documentation is unfindable on the Net. About the middle character, what do you think it could be? He looks like a partisan, could it be a fighter or the 1918 or 1919-23 events?
Re: Ehrengschenk für Kampfgruppe
The man posing with the raised fist reminds me of the Moscow Ernst Thallmann monument (http://content.foto.my.mail.ru/mail/kar ... -12039.jpg), while the man with the rifle on his shoulder looks very much like the monument to the Rote Matrose (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... statue.jpg), to this day at the Friedhof der Märzgefallenen at the Volkspark Friedrichshein (where also the monument to the International Brigades and the Polish Antifascists are located).
