BTW, I have just checked my scanoteque (love this word ) and found scans of this piece dating back to 2006, so it is an old fake.

Maybe the seller does not know what he is selling.
If he knows it could be the "owners" of the seller. It 'an old trick

Gentlemans i have to ask you to refrain in the future to post items that are currently selling in auctions or webstores.
This is very sad but we have to enforce this as also per forum rule

I have always believe that it was seller's responsibility to know exactly what he's selling.

I wouldn't call this medal a bad copy. It would not fool an expert, but a novice collector - easily.
